Case Study - Lord Stafford Awards
Client Background:
The Lord Stafford Awards started as a West Midlands-based awards programme that seeks to develop and celebrate business innovation, enabled by creating collaborative relationships with universities - so benefiting from their specialist research and expertise. 2008 saw the launch of Awards in the East Midlands, with the East of England quick to follow suit in 2009.
Design Brief:
In 2005 Amber Graphic Design was approached to create a new corporate identity for the organisation, reflecting the prestige and innovative spirit of the Awards. The identity needed to be instantly recognisable and contemporary. There was an imperative for design guidelines to ensure the brand was applied consistently. A range of marketing and event materials needed to be designed for the first re-branded Awards dinner.
Design Solution:
Drawing on research into colourful fibre optic imagery, Amber Graphic Design developed a robust visual identity that was first launched at the 2005 Lord Stafford Awards dinner. Amber was involved in developing the corporate branding guidelines, business stationery, electronic communications, marketing and event materials.
Client Comments:
"Amber Graphic Design has always delivered the goods - helping to raise the profile of the Lord Stafford Awards by delivering a high quality, lasting mark which will keep the prestigious brand ahead of the game." Beckie Lewis, Programme Manager for the Lord Stafford Awards
